Isaiah 60 · Grade 3
Your Gates Praise
Read the Story
God said, "Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh's glory has risen on you!" "Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising."
People would bring "gold and frankincense" and "proclaim the praises of Yahweh." God's city would be safe: "Violence shall no more be heard in your land."
God said, "you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise." "Yahweh will be your everlasting light." In the New Testament, Revelation says God's glory lights the new city (Revelation 21:23).
