Isaiah 57 · Grade 3
High and Holy
Read the Story
God is "the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy." He says, "I dwell in the high and holy place." He also lives "with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit."
Contrite means sorry for doing wrong. God said, "I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also."
God said, "Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near." In the New Testament, Paul says this peace comes through Jesus (Ephesians 2:17).
Memory Verse
“I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.”
