Isaiah 56 · Grade 3
For All Peoples
Read the Story
God said, "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is near." He blessed people who keep the Sabbath and do not do evil.
Some foreigners worried God would not want them. But God said He would bring them "to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer."
God said, "my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples." In the New Testament, Jesus quoted these words when he cleared the temple (Mark 11:17).
