Isaiah 53 · Grade 2
God's Servant Loves Us
Read the Story
People are like sheep. Sheep wander away. We wander from God when we do wrong.
God's Servant loved us. He took our wrong things on Himself. He brings us peace. In the New Testament, Peter says Jesus did this for us (1 Peter 2:24).
Memory Verse
“All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:6 (WEB)

Take It Home
For families: talk about these together.
- The Servant stayed silent when hurt. How can you stay calm when someone is unfair?
- The Servant did not look special, yet God loved Him. How does God look at your heart instead of how you look?
