Isaiah 51 · Grade 3
Joy and Gladness
Read the Story
God said, "Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you." God blessed Abraham and "made him many." God promised to make the desert "like the garden of Yahweh."
God said, "Joy and gladness will be found in them." He said, "my salvation will be forever." God told them not to be afraid of what people say.
"Those ransomed by Yahweh will return, and come with singing to Zion." "Sorrow and sighing shall flee away." God said, "I, even I, am he who comforts you."
Memory Verse
“For I am Yahweh your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar. Yahweh of Armies is his name.”
