Isaiah 50 · Grade 3

I Have Not Turned Back

Name Date

Read the Story

God's servant said, "The Lord Yahweh has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary."

"He awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear." The servant said, "I was not rebellious. I have not turned back." Even when people were mean, he obeyed God.

He said, "For the Lord Yahweh will help me." He would not give up. Isaiah said if anyone walks in darkness, "let him trust in Yahweh's name, and rely on his God."

  • The servant trusted God to stand by him. Who stands by you when kids tease you?
  • Who could you encourage?
