Isaiah 5 · Grade 2

The Vineyard

Name Date

Read the Story

Isaiah sang a song. A man had a vineyard on a hill. He took out the stones. He planted the best vines. He built a tower. He looked for good grapes. But it grew wild grapes.

The vineyard was God's people. God looked for justice. But he found people being hurt. Isaiah warned people who call evil good. He warned people who are wise in their own eyes.

Memory Verse

“Let me sing for my well beloved a song of my beloved about his vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a very fruitful hill.”
