Read the Story

God called His servant before he was born. God made him a light for all the world. God would bring His people home. They would not be hungry or thirsty.

God's people thought God forgot them. God said a mother would not forget her baby. God will never forget His people. He has them written on His hands.

Memory Verse

“Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are continually before me.”

Isaiah 49:16 (WEB)

For families: talk about these together.

  • God comforts His people like a loving mother. How does your family comfort you?
  • Kings and queens would care for God's people. How can you care for younger children?
