Isaiah 48 · Grade 3
Oh That You Had Listened
Read the Story
God told His people about things long before they happened. Then they could not say an idol did them. God said, "I have refined you, but not as silver. I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction."
God said, "I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go." God wanted His people to listen.
God said, "Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river." God said, "Leave Babylon!" He once "caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them."
