Isaiah 40 · Grade 2

Comfort My People

Name Date

Read the Story

God told Isaiah to comfort His people. A voice called people to get ready for God. Grass dries up, but God's word lasts forever.

God is like a shepherd. He carries the lambs in His arms. God never gets tired. He makes weak people strong. They will fly high like eagles.

Memory Verse

“He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.”

Isaiah 40:11 (WEB)
