Isaiah 39 · Grade 3
All That Is in My House
Read the Story
The king of Babylon "sent letters and a present to Hezekiah." He heard Hezekiah had been sick and got well.
"Hezekiah was pleased with them." He showed them "the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil." He showed them everything.
Isaiah asked, "What have they seen in your house?" Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house." Isaiah said that one day all of it would be carried to Babylon. Hezekiah said, "Yahweh's word which you have spoken is good."
Memory Verse
“Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “Yahweh’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “For there will be peace and truth in my days.””
