Isaiah 37 · Grade 3
Spread Before Yahweh
Read the Story
King Hezekiah was very sad. He went into Yahweh's house. Isaiah sent a message: "Don't be afraid of the words that you have heard."
The king of Assyria sent a letter full of threats. "Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it." He went to Yahweh's house "and spread it before Yahweh."
Hezekiah prayed, "You have made heaven and earth." He asked God to "save us." God answered through Isaiah. God said, "I will defend this city to save it." God kept His promise, and the king of Assyria went home.
Memory Verse
“Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are Yahweh, even you only.””
