Flowers in the Desert

Name Date

Read the Story

God said the dry desert would be glad. It would bloom with flowers. God told scared people, Be strong. Do not be afraid.

God would come and save them. Blind people would see. Lame people would jump like a deer. God's people would walk home on a holy road, singing.

Memory Verse

“Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.”

Isaiah 35:5 (WEB)

Take It Home

For families: talk about these together.

  • No lion will be found on God's highway. How does God keep you safe on your way?
  • Water will flow in dry places. What do you need from God like a thirsty plant needs water?
