Isaiah 31 · Grade 3
As Birds Hovering
Read the Story
Some people went "down to Egypt for help." They trusted in horses and chariots, "but they don't look to the Holy One of Israel."
"Now the Egyptians are men, and not God." Their horses were only flesh. But God is strong and wise. "As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem."
God said, "Return to him from whom you have deeply revolted, children of Israel." They would throw away their idols. God would save Jerusalem.
Memory Verse
“As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it. He will pass over and preserve it.””
