Isaiah 22 · Grade 3
He Will Open
Read the Story
Enemies came near Jerusalem. The people counted houses and fixed the wall. They gathered water in a pool. But they did not look to God, who made it.
God called them to turn back to Him. But they said, "Let's eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die." They did not listen.
Shebna was a proud leader. God said He would call His servant Eliakim. "I will lay the key of David's house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut."
Memory Verse
“I will lay the key of David’s house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.”
