God Stops the Proud

Name Date

Read the Story

God gave Isaiah a message about Babylon. Babylon was a big, proud city. Its people hurt others.

God said He would stop the pride of the proud. He would bring Babylon low. God is in charge of every nation, even the biggest ones.

Memory Verse

“I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity. I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will humble the arrogance of the terrible.”

Isaiah 13:11 (WEB)
