The Peaceful King

Name Date

Read the Story

Isaiah said a new shoot would grow from Jesse's family. Jesse was King David's father. God's Spirit would rest on this King. He would be wise and fair to the poor.

In His kingdom, the wolf will live with the lamb. A little child will lead them. No one will hurt anyone on God's holy mountain. The earth will be full of knowing God.

Memory Verse

“A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.”
