Hosea 5 · Grade 3
Not Hidden from God
Read the Story
God called to the priests, the people of Israel, and the king's house. He said, I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me. God knew everything they did.
The people's pride testified against them. They would go with their flocks to look for God, but they did not come with their hearts. A trumpet would sound a warning.
When Israel saw their sickness, they went to Assyria for help. But the king of Assyria could not heal them. God said He would wait until they admitted their wrong and would seek his face.
Memory Verse
“I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.””
