Genesis 47: Jacob Blesses Pharaoh

Joseph presented five brothers and then his father to Pharaoh. Pharaoh gave them the best of the land, Goshen. Jacob, 130 years old, blessed Pharaoh. As the famine grew severe, Joseph sold grain to the Egyptians in exchange for money, then livestock, then land, so the people survived and Pharaoh owned the land, and the people gave a fifth of their harvest to Pharaoh. Israel prospered in Goshen. Before he died, Jacob made Joseph promise to bury him with his fathers in Canaan.
