Genesis 12: God Calls Abram

God called Abram to leave his country and family and go to a land God would show him. God promised to make him a great nation, bless him, and bless all the families of the earth through him. Abram obeyed, traveled to Canaan, and built altars to the Lord. During a famine he went to Egypt and, afraid, said Sarai was his sister, but God protected Sarai.
