Ezra 7 · Grade 2
Ezra Loves God's Law
Read the Story
A man named Ezra lived in Babylon. He was a priest. He knew God's law very well.
Ezra set his heart on three things. He wanted to learn God's law. He wanted to obey it. And he wanted to teach it to others.
The king gave Ezra a letter. It said Ezra could go to Jerusalem. The king gave silver and gold for God's house. God's good hand was on Ezra. Ezra praised God!
Memory Verse
“For Ezra had set his heart to seek Yahweh’s law, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.”
