The House Is Done!

Name Date

Read the Story

King Darius looked in his old books. He found a scroll from King Cyrus. It said to build God's house.

Darius told them to build. He even gave money from the king. The people worked hard. The prophets helped them. At last God's house was done!

The people gave the house to God. They were full of joy. They kept a big feast called Passover. God had made them glad.

Memory Verse

“The children of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.”
