Read the Story
The work on God's house had stopped. Then God sent two prophets. Their names were Haggai and Zechariah. They told the people God's words.
The leaders got up. They began to build again! The prophets helped them.
A governor came. He asked who said they could build. But God watched over His people. The work did not stop. The governor wrote to the king about it.
Memory Verse
“Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build God’s house which is at Jerusalem; and with them were the prophets of God, helping them.”
