Ezra 3 · Grade 2
God Is Good!
Read the Story
God's people were home. They all came to Jerusalem. They came together as one. First they built an altar. They gave gifts to God there.
Next they began to build God's house. They laid the base on the ground. It was a big day!
The priests blew horns. The people sang. They sang that God is good. They sang that His love lasts forever. Many people shouted for joy. Some old men cried. They still loved the old house of God.
Memory Verse
“They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to Yahweh, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Yahweh, because the foundation of Yahweh’s house had been laid.”
