There Is Still Hope

Name Date

Read the Story

Ezra prayed and cried by God's house. Many people came. Moms, dads, and kids came. They all cried too. They were sorry they did not obey God.

A man named Shecaniah spoke up. He said there was still hope! He told Ezra to get up and be brave. He said they would help him.

All the people came to Jerusalem. It rained very hard! They stood in the rain. They said they had done wrong. They promised to obey God's law.

Memory Verse

Arise, for the matter belongs to you and we are with you. Be courageous, and do it.”
