Ezekiel 7: The End Has Come

God gave Ezekiel a message for the land of Israel: the end had come on the four corners of the land. God would judge the people according to their ways because of their sins and their idols. The day was near. Buying and selling would not matter. The trumpet would blow, but no one would go to battle. Silver and gold could not deliver them in the day of Yahweh's wrath. People would seek peace, a vision from the prophet, and counsel from the elders, but none would come. Then they would know that he is Yahweh.
