Exodus 30 · Grade 4
Prayer, Equality and Cleansing
Read and Think
The incense rose up to God every morning and evening. Psalm 141:2 asks God to receive prayer like incense. God wants His people to pray every day.
Everyone gave the same half shekel. Rich and poor were equal before God. Each person needed to be ransomed, and each person was valued the same.
The priests washed before they served. God wants His servants to be clean. In the New Testament, Jesus washed His disciples' feet (John 13), and 1 John 1:7 says His blood cleanses from sin.
