Ephesians 6 · Grade 3
Be Strong in the Lord
Read the Story
Paul wrote to families. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother. Fathers should not make their children angry. They should teach them about the Lord.
Then Paul said, Finally, be strong in the Lord. Put on the whole armor of God. Our real fight is not against people. It is against evil that we cannot see. God gives us armor to stand strong.
There is the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. Our feet wear the Good News of peace. We hold the shield of faith and wear the helmet of salvation. The Spirit's sword is God's word. Paul also asked them to pray for him so he could tell the Good News boldly.
Memory Verse
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
