Colossians 2 · Grade 3
Walk in Him
Read the Story
Paul worked hard in prayer for the church. He wanted their hearts to be comforted and joined in love. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ.
Paul wanted them to be careful. Some people used smooth words to trick believers. Paul said to keep living in Christ Jesus the Lord, just as they had received Him. They should be rooted and built up in Him and full of thanks.
Paul warned them not to follow empty ideas. In Christ they were made full. God made them alive with Christ and forgave all their sins. He took away the record against them by nailing it to the cross. So they did not need to follow rules made by people.
Memory Verse
“Now I say this that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.”
