Amos 8 · Grade 2

A Basket of Fruit

Name Date

Read the Story

God showed Amos a basket of ripe summer fruit. Ripe fruit is ready. Israel was ready for God to judge them.

Sellers cheated poor people. They used unfair scales. God said He would not forget. One day it would be hard to hear God's words. That is why we should love God's words now!

Memory Verse

“Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: behold, a basket of summer fruit.”
