Amos 4 · Grade 3
Prepare to Meet Your God
Read the Story
Amos spoke to rich women in Samaria. They oppress the poor and crush the needy. They only cared about drinks and parties.
The people went to Bethel and Gilgal to offer gifts. But they bragged about their offerings. Their worship did not change their hearts.
God sent hard times. There was lack of bread. He held back the rain. Locusts ate the fig trees. Each time God said, yet you haven't returned to me. So Amos said, prepare to meet your God, Israel.
Memory Verse
““Therefore I will do this to you, Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel.”
