Acts 8 · Grade 2
Philip on the Road
Read the Story
Some people were unkind to the believers. So the believers moved to new places. Everywhere they went, they told God's word.
Philip went to Samaria. He told about Jesus. There was great joy in that city (Acts 8:8).
An angel sent Philip to a desert road. A man from Ethiopia was riding in a chariot. He was reading God's word, but he did not understand it.
Philip told him the good news about Jesus. They came to some water. Philip baptized the man. The man went on his way full of joy.
Memory Verse
“Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached to him about Jesus.”
