Acts 7 · Grade 2
Stephen Sees Jesus
Read the Story
Stephen told the leaders God's story. He told about Abraham and Joseph. He told how God spoke to Moses from a burning bush.
The leaders got very angry. But Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit. He looked up to heaven. He saw Jesus standing by God (Acts 7:55).
The men threw stones at Stephen. Stephen knelt down. He prayed for God not to hold this sin against them.
Then Stephen died. A young man named Saul was there.
Memory Verse
“He kneeled down and cried with a loud voice, “Lord, don’t hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he fell asleep.”
