Acts 4 · Grade 2
We Can't Stop Telling
Read the Story
Peter and John told people that Jesus was alive. The leaders did not like it. They put Peter and John in jail for the night. But many people believed.
The next day the leaders asked how the lame man was healed. Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit. He said it was by the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10).
The leaders told them to stop. Peter and John said they could not stop telling what they saw and heard.
Then the friends prayed. The place shook. They were filled with the Holy Spirit. They told God's word with boldness. They shared all they had.
Memory Verse
“With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.”
