Acts 3 · Grade 2
Get Up and Walk
Read the Story
Peter and John went to the temple to pray. A man sat at the gate. He could not walk. He asked them for gifts.
Peter looked at him. He said he had no silver or gold. Then he told the man to get up and walk in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 3:6).
Peter took his hand. The man's feet got strong! He jumped up. He walked and leaped and praised God.
All the people saw him. They knew he was the man from the gate. They were filled with wonder.
Memory Verse
“Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.”
