Paul wrote a letter to Timothy. Paul loved Timothy like a son. He thanked God for Timothy's faith. Timothy's grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice loved God, too.

Paul told Timothy to use the gift God gave him. God does not make us afraid. God gives us power and love. Paul was in chains for Jesus, but he was not ashamed.
