Hold On to What Is True

Read the Story

The believers were worried. Someone said the day of the Lord had already come. Some even said the message came from Paul. Paul told them not to be shaken or troubled.

Paul said not to let anyone trick them. Some things must happen first. A very evil man would come, but the Lord Jesus would destroy him when He comes. Jesus is stronger than every evil.

Paul thanked God for them. God chose them to be saved through the Spirit and through believing the truth. Paul told them to stand firm. He told them to hold on to what they were taught. He prayed God would comfort them and make them strong in every good work.

Memory Verse

“So then, brothers, stand firm and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word or by letter.”
