2 Kings 8 · Grade 2

God Gives Back

Name Date

Read the Story

Elisha told the kind woman to go away. A famine was coming. She went to live in another land for seven years.

She came home. She asked the king for her house and land. Right then, Gehazi was telling the king about her son. Elisha had brought her son back to life. The king gave back all her land.

Some kings of Judah did evil. But God kept His promise to David. He would not destroy Judah. He kept a lamp for David's family.

Memory Verse

“However, Yahweh would not destroy Judah, for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give to him a lamp for his children always.”

2 Kings 8:19 (WEB)
