2 Corinthians 12 · Grade 3

My Grace Is Sufficient

Name Date

Read the Story

Paul told about a man who was taken up to heaven. He heard wonderful things. But Paul did not want to brag about that. He would only brag about his weakness.

God let Paul have a thorn in the flesh, a hard problem, so he would not become proud. Paul asked the Lord three times to take it away. The Lord answered him. The Lord's grace was enough for Paul. His power is made perfect in weakness.

So Paul was glad to be weak. He knew Christ's power would rest on him. Paul loved the Corinthians. He did not want their money. He only wanted them.

Memory Verse

“He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.”
