2 Chronicles 33 · Grade 2
God Forgives
Read the Story
Manasseh was twelve when he became king. He did very wrong things. He put idols in God's house. God spoke, but he did not listen.
Then an army took Manasseh far away. He was in big trouble. He prayed to God. He said sorry.
God heard him. God brought him home. Then Manasseh knew that God is God. He took out the idols. He told the people to serve God.
Memory Verse
“He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.”
