2 Chronicles 12: Humbled Before God

When Rehoboam was strong, he and Israel forsook God's law. Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. The prophet Shemaiah said they had left God. The king and the leaders humbled themselves, and God gave them some deliverance. Rehoboam did evil because he did not set his heart to seek Yahweh.
