1 Timothy 4 · Grade 2

You Can Be an Example

Name Date

Read the Story

Paul told Timothy that some people would follow wrong teaching. But everything God made is good. We should thank Him for it. Paul told Timothy to train to love God, like a runner trains his body.

Timothy was young. Paul told him not to let anyone think less of him for being young. Be a good example in what you say and do. Show love and faith. Read God's word. Use the gift God gave you.

Memory Verse

“Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12 (WEB)
