We Will Be With the Lord

Name Date

Read the Story

Paul asked the believers to please God more and more. He said God's will is for them to be holy and pure. God had taught them to love one another. Paul told them to keep loving more and more.

Paul also said to live quietly, do their own work, and work with their own hands. Then people who are not believers would respect them.

Some believers had died. Paul did not want the church to be sad like people with no hope. Jesus died and rose again. The Lord will come from heaven with a shout and a trumpet. Believers who died will rise. All God's people will be with the Lord forever. So, Paul said, comfort one another.

Memory Verse

“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.”
