1 Samuel 27 · Grade 2
Living Far Away
Read the Story
David was tired of running from Saul. He thought Saul would get him one day. So David went to the land of the Philistines. Six hundred men went with him.
David went to Achish, the king of Gath. Saul heard that David was in Gath. So Saul stopped looking for him.
The king gave David a town named Ziklag. David lived there one year and four months. David fought Israel's enemies. But he did not tell King Achish the truth about it.
