1 Chronicles 5 · Grade 2
God Helped Them
Read the Story
Some tribes lived on the east side of the Jordan River. They were Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh. They had many sheep and camels.
One day they had a hard fight. They cried to God. They put their trust in Him. God answered them and helped them.
Later they forgot God. They went after other gods. So they were taken far away from their land.
Memory Verse
“They were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he answered them because they put their trust in him.”
