1 Chronicles 29 · Grade 3
Given Willingly
Read the Story
David gave his own treasure of gold and silver for God's house. He asked who else would offer willingly. The leaders gave gold, silver, bronze, iron, and precious stones.
The people rejoiced because they gave willingly with a perfect heart. David blessed Yahweh. He said all that is in the heavens and earth is God's. Riches and honor come from him.
David wondered who he was, that the people could give like this. All things come from you, and we have given you of your own. The people worshiped. Solomon became king, and David died at a good old age.
Memory Verse
“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.”
