1 Chronicles 24 · Grade 2
Fair Turns
Read the Story
Aaron's family were priests. There were many of them. They needed a plan.
They made twenty-four groups. They drew lots to pick each group's turn. That was fair to all.
A man wrote down all the names. Each group knew its turn. They took turns serving in God's house.
Memory Verse
“Thus they were divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.”
