1 Chronicles 22 · Grade 3
David Prepares
Read the Story
David said Ornan's threshing floor would be the house of Yahweh God. He set workers to cut stones. He got iron, bronze, and cedar trees without number.
David said Solomon was young. The house for Yahweh must be very great. So David prepared a lot before he died. He told Solomon that God chose him, a man of peace, to build it.
David told Solomon to be strong and of good courage. He told the leaders to help Solomon. He told them to set their heart and soul to seek Yahweh their God. Then arise and build.
Memory Verse
““Isn’t Yahweh your God with you? Hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before Yahweh and before his people.”
