1 Chronicles 22 · Grade 2
A Man of Peace
Read the Story
David picked a place for God's house. He got stones, wood, and metal. He got lots and lots of them.
David called his son Solomon. He said God chose Solomon to build God's house. Solomon would be a man of peace.
David told the leaders to help Solomon. He told them to seek God with all their heart. Then go and build.
Memory Verse
“Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of peace. I will give him rest from all his enemies all around; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.”
