Gifts for God's House
Read the Story
David won battles against nations around Israel. Moab, Zobah, Syria, and Edom became his servants. Yahweh gave victory to David wherever he went.
David took shields of gold and much bronze. King Tou sent his son with gold, silver, and bronze. David gave all of it to Yahweh. Solomon later used the bronze for the temple.
David reigned over all Israel. He did justice and righteousness for all his people. Joab was over the army, and others helped him lead.
Memory Verse
“King David also dedicated these to Yahweh, with the silver and the gold that he carried away from all the nations: from Edom, from Moab, from the children of Ammon, from the Philistines, and from Amalek.”
